NSW REGIONAL BUSINESS EVENT DEVELOPMENT FUND

The NSW Regional Business Event Development Fund is designed to help stakeholders create, attract and support exciting business events for Regional NSW and to support small-medium scale infrastructure projects specifically designed to drive business events related growth and expenditure within a regional NSW destination.

Applications will be accepted from Monday 13 February 2023 until midnight, 31 March 2023. Each application will be assessed on a competitive basis using a comprehensive scoring criteria to detertime successful projects awarded funding. Funding is to be matched dollar-for-dollar by the applicant, and the final amount of funding offered for successful applicants from the available pool of funds ($750,000) will be determined by the assessment panel based on relevant information provided in each application.

THE REGIONAL BUSINESS EVENT DEVELOPMENT FUND APPLICATION PROCESS

  • Stage 1 - Submit ApplicationSubmit your application for funding via the relevant stream. Be sure to include details of matched dollar-for-dollar funding and as much information as possible about the required eligibility fields.
  • Stage 2 - ReviewDestination NSW will review submitted applications and either approve the application, request clarification/further information or alternatively provide feedback to the applicant as to the reasons for their submission not progressing.
  • Stage 3 - Contract & Agreed MilestonesAn agreement will be designed and implemented between Destination NSW and the applicant outlining terms and conditions, agreed milestones and timelines for payment.
